1. Shortly afterwards stock returned and currently on Apple.ca the iMac Pro is showing it ships in 3-4 weeks. Testing conducted by Apple in July 2020 using pre-production 3.6GHz 10-core Intel Core i9–based 27-inch iMac systems with 128GB of RAM, and shipping 3.6GHz 8-core Intel Core i9–based 27-inch iMac systems with 64GB of RAM. Tested with MATLAB and Simulink R2020a Update 4 and Parallel Computing Toolbox using a vehicle dynamics model.
3. Apple updated the 21.5in iMac in August 2020 but rather than upgrading the processors all the company did was switch out the old-fashioned hard drives that used to ship as standard for faster SSDs.
